Do you dyno tune GM trucks and SUVs?
Our current service for trucks and truck-based SUVs is street tuning. The car dyno-tuning service shown elsewhere on the site is a different path. We confirm vehicle support, condition and computer access before accepting or scheduling the work.
Diesel applications are outside our service scope. For a Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban or Escalade inquiry, include the exact engine and year; a trim name alone does not identify the powertrain.
How does towing change a cam or performance plan?
Tell us what you tow, the typical load, how you use the truck and which drivability changes you would accept. Camshaft choice must account for idle quality, transmission and converter behavior, temperature management and the supporting combination. Choosing only by idle sound leaves those decisions unanswered.
If the truck has ticking, misfires, warning lights or other symptoms, describe them before requesting an upgrade. Diagnosis and any existing damage can change the work required; a tune cannot be promised to repair a mechanical fault.
What can change the quoted package total?
The listed L83/L86 and L84/L87 packages cover different engine families. Match the actual vehicle to the written estimate and check the included cam/supporting parts, lifters, fluids, labor and calibration. Repairs, controller services and other vehicle-specific requirements can change the scope. An included package tune should not be counted twice.
For 2019-and-newer Silverado/Sierra and other controller-sensitive applications, we verify the installed engine and transmission computers before quoting access or timing. A prior engine unlock does not establish transmission access, and model year alone does not settle the requirements.
What do you need to plan my visit?
Send the year, exact model, gasoline engine, transmission, total mileage, installed modifications, current fuel, symptoms, intended use, location and timing. Existing modifications can be reviewed; Exodus sources parts for accepted installations rather than installing customer-supplied parts.
Vehicles must be healthy before modification. Accepted mechanical work on a vehicle over 100,000 odometer miles requires an in-person condition inspection. Pre-2014 work is normally tuning-only, with a potential Magnuson installation reviewed individually. Confirm acceptance and the appointment before arranging travel.
