Magnuson buying guide: match the kit to your GM vehicle
Start with the engine and body style, then plan the complete installation. A TVS2650 name alone does not establish fitment. Exodus Performance is an authorized Magnuson dealer and installer in Austin, Texas. Use this checklist to compare a shipped kit with a locally installed build.
Corvette: Stingray, Z06 and convertible are different applications
C8 Stingray LT2: cast-lid kit 01-26-62-085-BL is for coupes. Billet-lid kit 01-26-62-087-BL supports the convertible and is an appearance option for the coupe. These are not C8 Z06 LT6 or ZR1 LT7 kits. Magnuson calibration is included for the supported configuration; the tuning device, ECM unlock and credits are separate.
2014–2019 C7 Stingray LT1: kit 01-26-62-171-BL requires an oil-system check. Wet-sump applications need the specified ATI damper separately; 2014 cars require the later water-pump arrangement. The C7 Z06 LT4 uses a different kit. Confirm these details before comparing installed totals.
Camaro and Blackwing: identify the engine before the trim name
2016–2024 Camaro LT1 6.2L uses 01-26-62-182-BL. A Camaro 1LT trim badge does not mean it has the LT1 V8. The 2017–2024 Camaro ZL1 / 2016–2019 CTS-V LT4 kit is 01-26-62-176-BL. Older LSA applications are separate again.
CT5-V Blackwing LT4 uses 01-26-62-175-BL for the supported 2022–2026 application. It does not fit the regular CT5-V or CT4-V Blackwing. This kit is not for sale in California.
Truck engines: L86 and L87 kits are not interchangeable
For a 6.2L truck or SUV, check the engine code and model year against the L86 kit or L87 kit. Send your VIN when uncertain; displacement alone is not enough.
Compare the complete scope before ordering
A kit price is not an installed-build quote. Confirm calibration eligibility, unlocks and credits, current modifications, fuel, cooling, transmission needs, labor and freight. A manufacturer power claim is not a measured result for your car.
Shipped kits are fulfilled by Magnuson, not stocked at our Austin shop. The general lead estimate is approximately eight weeks and varies by kit; confirm the current estimate before scheduling installation. Shipping eligibility and charges follow our Magnuson store policies.
