What changes the price of a C8 tune?

Model year, installed computers, previous upgrades and requested work all matter. Engine-computer access, software licensing and calibration are separate items. An already upgraded computer may change the work required, but it does not automatically establish licensing or access to the transmission computer.

Your estimate should identify the engine work and any separately requested transmission work. We confirm current availability, access and scope before quoting transmission work. A Stingray, Z06 and ZR1 do not share one universal tuning quote.

How do I compare an engine upgrade with a supercharger build?

Compare the complete combination: the hardware, installation, controller work, calibration, and any fuel or cooling support needed for your goals. Tell us whether you want a different idle character, more response or a larger build, and how the car will be used. A parts price by itself does not describe the installed project.

A documented C8 build scope

One historical Exodus C8 build scope itemized a Magnuson 2650 system, installation, a coated lid, fluids and oil service, with engine-computer access and tuning listed separately. It illustrates why a kit price and an installed project cover different things. Your Stingray's combination is planned and quoted for its existing parts, fuel and goals.

What if the car already has parts or a warning light?

Share the installed parts, any previous tuning and the actual fault codes or symptoms. A warning light after a modification does not tell us that tuning is the fix. We first establish the appropriate diagnostic or calibration next step. Existing modifications can be reviewed; we do not install customer-supplied parts.
